Q: WHAT IS A RECURRING CLEANING PROGRAM?
A: Same day of the week, same time block (early morning, late morning, early afternoon, late afternoon) for every weekly, bi-weekly, monthly visit to your home.
Q: WHAT IS CLEANED ON THE SERVICE VISIT?
A: Your home. We complete a detailed cleaning checklist during every weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visit that includes all the essentials and some rotational tasks. Checklists for recurring service and One-Time cleans (of all types) do differ.
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE CLEANING MY HOME?
A: Mint Maids cleaning techs work in teams of 2 or 3 for weekly, bi-weekly and monthly service and up to a team of 4 for One-Time cleans.
Q: WILL I HAVE THE SAME TEAM FOR EACH VISIT?
A: We try our absolute best to keep the same team or same team member(s) in your home. Rest assured that we are a very very tight tribe and if someone does step in they are always fully aware of the particulars and unique details of your home.
Q: ARE THE CLEANING TECHNICIANS EMPLOYEES OR SUB CONTRACTORS?
A: Our cleaning techs are dedicated employees and have undergone a rigorous training program and police background checks.
Q: ARE YOU BONDED, INSURED AND WSIB COVERED?
A: We sure are. Unlike independent contractors, our Mint Maids tribe is bonded, insured and WSIB covered (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) so no need to worry;)
Q: WHY IS AN INDEPENDENT CLEANER CHEAPER?
A: Cheaper doesn't mean better. We are professionals offering a quality service. Save yourself the time and money of "trying out" numerous independent cleaners. Think before you hire an amateur. Bonus: we will never call and cancel a visit because we are sick!
Q: DO I HAVE TO SUPPLY THE PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT?
A: No way. We would never ask you to do that! Our techs our outfitted "to the nines" with top of the line HEPA filter backpack vacuums and sustainable products.
Q: WHAT IF I'M NOT GOING TO BE HOME?
A: No worries. We are used to it! Simply provide us with your instructions, key code etc. and we will be fine.
Q: WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED TO SKIP A VISIT?
A: Simply notify our dedicated Client Care team via email and they will reschedule your visit. We kindly ask for 72 hours notice please and thank-you:) We know sometimes this can't happen, but it would be truly appreciated if it could!
Q: WHAT IF I NEED SOME EXTRA DUTIES DONE ON MY UPCOMING VISIT?
A: We are flexible. Just email Client Care to make your request before your next visit and they will provide you with a quote for the extra services. California Shutters, inside your fridge - no problem!
Q: WHAT IF I JUST WANT TO TRY OUT YOUR SERVICE BEFORE MOVING FORWARD WITH A RECURRING PROGRAM?
A: No problem. Try us out with a One-Time Clean first.

Q: HOW DO YOU ENSURE QUALITY CONTROL?
A: Our teams in the field are trained and continuously educated on cutting edge product knowledge and new techniques. Each team is responsible for completing a Real-Time online inspection checklist at the end of each visit to your home. Our Quality Assurance Manager also conducts random unannounced spot checks, keeping everyone on their toes!
Q: ARE MY PETS FINE?
A: We are pet people! It's all good! Just let us know any special instructions you may have.
Q: SHOULD I TIDY BEFORE THE CLEANING TECHS ARRIVE?
A: Oldest joke in the book, right! Cleaning before the cleaners come! But seriously, yes, we do assume that your home will be in order and fairly picked up to facilitate cleaning. Bottom line - it simply allows for us to do the absolute best job for you.
Q: DO YOU MAKE BEDS AND DO DISHES?
A: We don't want to waste your time and money doing the daily chores. Right?! We are house cleaners not house keepers. Our techs take care of the kind of things that you don't have time to. And we do it very well!
